Kids get the knob. You get the app. It is where the library gets built, the story gets recorded and the rules get set, from your phone, in the two minutes before you leave the house. Kids never see it.

What it does
Six jobs. Then it gets out of the way.
The app runs on your phone. Robi runs on its own. Once something is on Robi, the phone can be off, in the front seat, or in another country.
Set up
Robi finds your phone over Bluetooth, you hand it your WiFi, and it is ready. Nothing to type on the device, because there is nothing to type on.
Build the library
Search a show by name or paste an RSS link. Add audiobook feeds and the music files you already own. Tell Robi which shows to keep updated, and only those fetch new episodes.
Record your voice
A bedtime story, a good-morning message, grandpa reading the dinosaur book. Record it in the app and it plays on Robi when you cannot be there.
Make a story together
Name the hero, pick a theme, set an age and a length. The app writes it, you read every word before your kid hears it, then it is narrated onto Robi.
Line up a mix
Shows, songs and stories in the order you want. A bedtime mix. A road-trip mix. One press on Robi runs the whole thing.
Set the rules
Quiet hours, a volume cap, a daily limit. Robi keeps the rules itself, so they hold when the phone is nowhere near.
What it costs
The app is free. Listening never needs a subscription.
Podcasts, feeds, your own music and your recordings play with nothing more to pay. If we ever offer extras with a real running cost behind them, such as cloud backup or family recordings from far away, they will be optional, and Robi will work in full without them.
Privacy, briefly
Robi has no microphone and no camera.
Kids do not sign in and have no account. The only things about a child that ever reach us come from you, in the app: a first name for stories if you want one, an age range, and what is playing so the app can show it. Nothing about children is used for advertising, sold, or used to train models.
